Family Shelter: On-Call Supervisor

Job Purpose: To oversee and support the functions of a 24 hour, 150 bed family shelter and women’s transitional housing facility intent on feeding and sheltering the homeless and impoverished of Lincoln. The purpose of this oversight is to promote an environment that leads to opportunities to help and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Job Responsibilities: Provide supervision and support on an on-call basis, during evening and overnight shifts. As well, support guest relations in our shelter with intakes, advocacy and data entry.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required, some college courses preferred.

Men's Shelter: On-Call Supervisor

Job Purpose: To oversee and support the functions of a 24 hour, 100 bed men’s housing facility intent on feeding and sheltering the homeless and impoverished of Lincoln. The purpose of this oversight is to promote an environment that leads to opportunities to help and share the good news of Jesus Christ.

Job Responsibilities: Availability, even at short notice. Provide supervision and support during daytime, evening and overnight shifts. Preserve a positive environment by recognizing and mediating potential conflicts. Use both grace and justice at the appropriate times, bearing in mind what is in the best interest of our guests.

Education: High School Diploma or GED required, some college courses preferred.
